Holla Lantern
This lantern is not just about granny squares. Holla is way more special. With this pattern I invite you visit the nature around you. May that be a park, a forest, a field or your garden! You can find many sticks to use for this lanterns frame. Have a closer look, what plant does it belong to? What powers are said to live in this plant?
I used stitcks from an elder shrub. They are very robust and have a beautiful natural print once you removed the thin bark. Elder wood is said to keep away the bad spirits. That makes this lantern protective for me.
